Carolee’s 2015 Schedule---Our Final Season

Sat April 18         Fairy Days-the last time!  Our final fairy weekend, with fairy crafts, fairy foods, fairy plants, fairy hunt, fairy music, and more.  Sale on selected fairy items.  Wear your wings and join the magic!

Sun April 19        Fairy Days-the last time! (repeat of 4/18)
Sat., April 25      “Lemon Herbs!”  Learn to grow & use the lemon-flavored and lemon-scented herbs in a variety of culinary and fragrant products.  All lemon plants on sale this day.

Sat., May 2        “Gardening for Pollinators” Presentations at 11:00 & 1:00.  See a display of plants and herbs that are exceptionally beneficial for bees & others.

Sun., May 3       “Beginning Herb Gardeners” Workshop: 1-3p.m.  Learn the basics for establishing an herb garden.  Handouts and lots of ideas, plus a free plant.  $12

May 8-14           Note: Carolee will be attending the HSA conference, so she will not be at the farm this week.

Sat., May 16      “Herb of the Year: Savory” Presentations at 11:00 and 1:00.  Learn to use savory in a variety of ways.  Recipes and tastings.  All savory plants on sale.

Sun., May 17     “Culinary Planter” Workshop: 1-3p.m.  Learn to grow the 20 most popular culinary herbs.  Plant a selection of six in a container.  Culture and usage handouts included.  $22

Sat, May 23       “Time for Teas, Shrubs, & Kombucha”  Presentations at 11:00 and 1:00.  Learn which plants make tasty, healthy teas and other herbal beverages.

Sat, May 30        Our final day to be open…we will be closing our doors and currently do not plan to reopen in 2016.

Note:  Events listed in bold print are open to the public and do not require reservations.  Workshops (listed in standard print) do require registration and prepayment on line, by phone, or mail.

As I have time and opportunity, I will be sorting out the items stored in the loft, garage and sales shed to be put out for sale.  New items will be added weekly, if not daily!  Also, selected plants will be potted from the gardens as the weather permits.
