Herbal Choices is Available!
The sequel to "Herbal Beginnings" is now available! "Herbal Choices" continues Callie's story at Joyful Heart Herb Farm. It's the second season, and Daniel gets a second chance. There's lots more gardening information and herbal lore as Callie, her friends in Heartland, and her new employees, two Amish sisters, have to make some difficult choices. The romance continues as well! Since it is the second season at the farm, the recipes are for the second course...a choice, of course, of soup or salads, with over 70 original recipes using the herbs from Callie's gardens, and profiles of twelve special herbs. Price is $28.95.
Carolee's first book, nearly 500 pages of herbal and garden information woven through a fictional story was publiished in 2008. "Herbal Beginnings" tells not only Callie's story as she begins an herb farm in a new place, but also encourages and informs anyone who might be interested in growing or using herbs, the useful plants. It includes mystery, danger, garden lore, romance, and seventy original recipes for appetizers and cocktails using the plants from Callie's gardens. Price is $28.95.
The book is receiving great reviews, and many people are purchasing additional copies for gifts, or for their local herb club or unit.
