This was the first garden I planted after moving to the farm. It is filled with plants that have stories, such as mugwort, lambs ears, wood betony, downy woundwort, and valerian. These hardy plants require little work, other than an annual application of mulch. Sometimes, we add dahlias or other bulbs for color. It is serene and undemanding.
