The Sage & Sun-lovers’ Garden |
When I first moved to the farm, I grew 72 varieties of sage in this garden. Needless to say, no one else was really interested in that many sages, so this garden has evolved to include other plants that like the same conditions—full sun, dry soil. Visitors love the long-blooming violet spires of East Friesland sage and the big ruffly blooms of the apricot irises. There are also some unusual daylilies and a golden germander called “Sunshine.” |
