From the earliest spring greens until the final turnip is pulled, the Cook’s garden is an ever-changing feast for the eye and the palate!  The raised beds are packed with color and texture, as well as taste.  Visitors will find tiny alpine strawberries, tender lettuces and heirloom tomatoes next to flavorful herbs of all kinds.  One bed contains herbs for teas, another has rows of hard-necked garlic.  Italian beans might grow next to French sorrel, or dark beets next to colorful hot peppers.  A vigorous hops vine climbs over the central arch, lightly shading a nearby bed of spinach.  You’ll find the common and the unusual, so look carefully.
